OK, now to the reason I am here. Before I tag your Clint, I remembered some fan canon and wanted to pass it by you first. I'm pretty sure this comes from Tumblr, some GIF set from Hurt Locker that was repurposed, but how do you feel about Sam and Clint having met before the Avengers?

Either they bumped shoulders on military transports while on their ways to different missions or even maybe Clint was there for the mission Natasha recognized that Sam mentioned in Cap2. Maybe Clint was even a secret observer of the EXO-7 wing suit to see if they would be an asset for SHIELD.

I'm not thinking anything deep, just an exchange of names, maybe a few days together during an op, and/or maybe a beer at some crappy bar after. And if this doesn't work for you, no problem on my end.

That's totally okay! However you'd like to play it, as long as how well they know each other is pretty mild -- I like the idea of observer of the wing suit, or the Natasha mission.
